Current teaching
Financial Market Structure at Stockholm University. Supervising two Ph.D. candidates, Ester Félez Vinas and Petter Dahlström.

Björn Hagströmer is Associate Professor of Finance at Stockholm Business School, Stockholm University, and a visiting researcher at the Swedish House of Finance. He received his PhD in 2010 from Aston University, Birmingham, UK. Björn’s research interest is centered on financial market structure, with applications to asset pricing, financial econometrics, liquidity measurement and market design. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. In 2017, Björn was awarded the Josseph de la Vega Prize for an outstanding research paper related to the securities markets in Europe. He is also a member of the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) Group of Economic Advisers.
